California agents only. Simple monthly fees and flat closing costs — no multi-state fine print.
$85/mo + $550/closing
Most popular
$125/mo + $450/closing
Closing fee applies to sale prices up to $2M or commissions up to $50K, then resets. New agents pay an additional mentorship fee on their first five closings. Ashlar Lane is licensed in California only.
Ashlar Lane uses a simple model: a monthly plan fee plus a flat closing fee per transaction — not a percentage of your commission. Plans start at $85/month + $550 per closing; our Business plan is $125/month + $450 per closing. See commission plans for full details. State-mandated fees are passed through at cost with no markup.
Once your transaction file is approved and we receive confirmed closing documents, commission disbursements are processed promptly — typically within one to two business days.
Yes. You set your own rates with buyers and sellers. The only requirement is that your commission covers Ashlar Lane's closing fee for your plan.
Reach our managing brokers by phone, email, or text during business hours at (415) 555-0100. For urgent transaction questions that cannot wait until the next business day, after-hours contact information is provided in your agent welcome materials.
California agents typically access C.A.R. forms through ZipForm at car.org, included with your local association membership. If you need help setting up access, our team can walk you through the process.
Ashlar Lane is a California-licensed brokerage; each agent maintains their own REALTOR® association and MLS membership for the California markets they serve. Dues and requirements vary by local board — we help you navigate Bay Area and statewide requirements.
When you open a transaction in our system, you will see a checklist of required documents based on the deal type — listing, purchase, referral, and so on. If anything is unclear, your transaction coordinator or managing broker can help.
Often, yes. Agents who hold a separate NMLS license under another mortgage broker can typically keep their real estate license with Ashlar Lane, provided your real estate transactions flow through our brokerage and the two businesses are marketed separately. Contact us before joining to confirm your specific situation.
Yes. Your clients may work with any lender, title company, or escrow provider they choose. We can recommend trusted Bay Area vendors when helpful, but the decision is yours and your client's.
Yes. We welcome part-time and dual-career agents. There is no requirement to practice full time to hang your license with Ashlar Lane.
California only. Our managing brokers and leadership are Bay Area–based, and we support agents working across Northern California — from San Francisco and the Peninsula to the East Bay, South Bay, and North Bay. There is no requirement to work from a physical office; you run your business locally, with brokers who know these markets inside and out.
Yes. You may order business cards, signs, and print materials from any vendor, as long as they follow our marketing guidelines — including the Ashlar Lane logo where required and your DRE license number. Marketing beyond basic contact information may need broker approval.
Yes. To list and sell property, you will need active membership with a local REALTOR® association that includes MLS access for your market. That membership is between you and the association, not the brokerage — but we will guide you through the steps when you join.
We provide resources to help you build your business, including guidance on lead generation and client follow-up. Our core focus is transaction support, compliance, and responsive broker access — not running a lead-generation program for you.
Ashlar Lane does not guarantee leads. Many of our agents generate their own business or use third-party lead services on their own. We focus on helping you close the deals you bring in with strong broker support and transaction coordination.
Yes. If you refer licensed agents who join Ashlar Lane and close transactions, you may qualify for recruiting bonuses under our agent referral program. Ask us for current program details when you join.
No. You can transfer your license out at any time. New agents receive transaction mentorship on their first closings — we focus on contracts and compliance, not mandatory meetings or lead quotas.
Yes. On the Business plan, add agents for $50/month each. If a team splits, agents keep the discounted rate for six months.
Call us at (415) 555-0100 or submit the form above and we will walk you through the transfer. Most California transfers take just a few minutes once you are ready.
